I studied graphic design and photography at Mercyhurst College, graduating in 2004, and then got married 3 weeks later and took a job at an advertising agency where I worked as an Art Director for five years. I so desired to have my own business, and photography had started to become more than just a hobby. I photographed a few weddings for friends, attended a bridal show, booked a ton of weddings and became a fast learner of all things wedding in my first season! I have been shooting weddings, portraits and families professionally since 2008.

Casual and fun lifestyle family, child, senior, headshot, maternity and engagement sessions begin at $200, which includes a 1 hour session and signature editing. We can have the session at an awesome location or at your home. Digital files and/or prints are not included in the session fee. The full gallery of digital files are $250, and print packages starting at $45 are also available. A full product and package catalog is available upon request!

If you’re like most, the idea creates anxiety immediately. Don’t get stressed! We will have so much fun with a relaxed timeline and hanging out at your home or other location to get photos that are the essence of you and/or your family! At my family sessions, I want to create a safe and fun space that enables true fun, happiness and beautiful photos. We will do a variety of poses including kids alone, with mom and dad, posed as well as candid and running around… giving the kids a chance to get out all that energy! I’m also not opposed to bribery if you’re not… 🙂

At other types of sessions, the feeling is the same. I will use jokes, word games, other types of exercises to keep you guys moving, not feeling awkward, or if you do – laughing about it. Can’t wait to meet you!

Of course! That sounds so fun. I love animals and will work hard to try to get them into the family poses 🙂 I would recommend bringing some treats and maybe a your best whistle as whistling isn’t my strong suit!

I will provide you with a gallery that ranges in number of images depending on your type of session. It could be 50, it could be 150… depends on the type of shoot and how long our session was. But either way, know that they have all been carefully selected as the best images that tell your story from your session. It will be full of joyful portraits, candids and funny moments. I will deliver the images to you for viewing via an online gallery anywhere from 2-5 weeks after your session, usually with a sneek peak via e-mail or facebook first (with your permission).
