The joining of Colleen & Brian's two families was a long-awaited and joyous occasion. Set at the gorgeous Quincy Cellars on a perfect, windy day, it was a loving and crazy day full of tons of family, the Kentucky Derby, and lots of joy. Thanks for choosing me and Jessica to photograph your wedding! Here are some of my favorite moments.

When Kendra called me to set up some pictures for their 2 year anniversary, I was so excited! It’s always an honor to get to photograph your past wedding clients, especially those who are still so happy and in love! We had a great time, even through a little rain, and ventured down to trails around Behrend, in Erie PA for some fall anniversary pics. I couldn’t resist some gorgeous fallf oliage and nature shots as well Enjoy!

This wedding was completely special to me, as Aaron is my second cousin and he and my sister and I all grew up together. In fact Amy even graduated with him! So getting to see a family member tie the knot with such an incredible young lady, Hollie, was a joyful event for everyone. Aaron & Hollie met while working together at the Sarah Reed Children’s Center, and originally wouldn’t date because Hollie had a rule about dating co-workers! After various circumstances, they met again outside of work, talked and talked, and the rest was history!

Even though the rain was cold and wet and not the ideal weather setting we had envisioned, we made the best of it in a short time and I think got some of my favorite documentary shots ever. It was easy with such a beautiful and in love, happy couple! Enjoy – here’s a bunch more on flickr.

Ashley & Jim are one of the greatest couples! They are so in love and I just love their calm nature! The wedding was awesome, perfect weather, and gorgeous family, bridal party, guests, flowers & details! I was so honored to photograph it I always have a soft spot for couples that have done engagement photos with me, because I feel like I’ve been waiting with them for the big day! Nicole & Johnny have been together for over 8 years!! They finally made it official with a ceremony and reception at the Masonic Temple in Erie, PA, even including John’s son Ian into the ceremony. It was so precious! He had vows that joined him into this new family. I love seeing families being created at weddings! This wedding was beautiful with gorgeous flowers  by Potraz, dresses, and a fun and loving bridal party.

Johnny & Nicole had a “first look” which was very special and cute. John was totally enamored by his beautiful bride!

I was so excited to get asked to take pictures for Kate & Ross. They live now in Las Vegas – and came up to Erie for a friends wedding. They wanted some fun and cool pics together and planned out all the places we definitely wanted to hit and with sweet outfits to boot. Tomorrow, August 15 will be their 3 year anniversary  The weather was CRAZY to say the least, we thought we’d have to cancel due to flash flood warnings – but we pressed on and ended up getting some amazing shots with some sweet cloudy and stormy skies! We had a great time running around Erie and finding the best spots Thanks for asking me and being patient when my car ran out of gas!! haha

Kelsey & Leroy are just two of the most in-love and sweet couples I’ve ever met. These two have had a long relationship of love and at times distance, and I was so honored to get to stand back and photograph the day that they joined their lives as one! Relaxed, happy, in love and not a care in the world, this couple was so fun to photograph! I was also excited to have the chance to work with Kim Sprickman as my assistant who got some great shots, some of which are included here. Enjoy! There are even more on flickr & facebook.

Best cake topper ever! This was the first thing they bought for the wedding

Last Saturday was a HOT one with a fantastic wedding and beautiful guests and bridal party! I was so honored to get photograph this wedding at the lovely Peek n’ Peak. Heather & Brad have been together for a LONG time… over 10 years! And they now have an awesome son Peyton who stole the show many times during the evening with his great smile and funky dance moves It was DJ’d by John Gallagher who did an amazing job as always. Karen & Joe met at Central High school and have been together for many years. They are such a fun couple, and Karen just recently moved closer to completing her dissertation, so she’s at the halfway point to getting her PHd in social work… Joe’s a graphic designer at Black Box Network Services. What a cool couple and an exciting time in their lives. We did some engagement pictures last fall and had such a great time, so I was so excited to get to shoot their special day.

Joe & Karen love their doggie Doug, and his pictures were present through the wedding reception. They even dressed him up and took a picture, although he didn’t join us, so we took a picture so he’d be there in spirit

DJ & Melissa and I met last year when they came to me to book their wedding. I was immediately struck by how well the gelled together and how FUN and happy they are! Melissa is a strong and beautiful young woman and DJ is a gentlemen to the core. I was so honored to photograph their love at this fun wedding!
