I had the pleasure of photographing this newborn baby, Giavanna and her sisters & mommy last week! Rachel (mom) attends the same church as me, and we were due with our babies within a month or so of each other so were commiserating at the end of our pregnancy! Daddy was under the weather so couldn't make the photoshoot, but here are some beautiful images of these 4 lovely ladies – one of whom is only about 2 weeks old! I was so honored/excited to get to photograph these beautiful kids!

I have the honor of photographing this little girl every month for her first year. Sofie’s story is so unique. She is the blessed little baby who has her loving adoptive parents, Kristie & Rob who adopted her in November at birth. And she has the honor of knowing her birth mother & father (Rhi & Rob) interact with her on a regular basis. For more about their beautiful story, check out Kristie’s blog here.

Here are a few from Sofie’s newborn family session at the hospital, and then a few from month 2. We missed month one but caught up with some beautiful photographs in January. Here’s the litte sweetheart! Sofie you are so blessed with so many who love you!

Hey everyone! Just wanted to let you know that I will not be taking any more clients for fall sessions due to my high workload right now and need of a personal rest period over the holidays. My beautiful daughter is 1.5 years old! I am so blessed by her. She doesn’t get as many pictures as she should!!! So I dragged her and my hubby and camera out to the park and snapped some pictures of my own beauty. Here’s just a few favorites.

Hey everyone! Sorry, I’ve been a little quiet for a week or two. But tonight I had an adorable photo shoot that I cna’t wait to share.

I actually went to high school with Breanna & Gary – I had classes with them and gave speeches at graduation with Gary as we both graduated Valedictorians! I still remember goofing off in my Economics class with Breanna These two are TRUE high school sweethearts. They’ve been together for as long as I can remember – and they are still in love and now have this beautiful little son, Carter! He just turned one and we went out to Shades Beach in Harborcreek to get some cute pictures. It was an overcast day with AMAZING clouds… sooo awesome!

I had the pleasure of photographing this gorgeous family that just grew a little bigger with the addition of Peyton, a darling little girl that is only about 3 weeks old (2 when the photos were taken). Big sister & brother Cadence & Owen were all smiles and we had a great photo session capturing this precious time. So glad we got to do it! I definitely got a little baby fever while posing darling Peyton!

my daughter chloe is 1 year old!

Dear Chloe,

I am in awe of you and your beauty and sweetness. I can’t believe that God blessed me with such a an incredible child. I can remember the day we found out you we were going to have you, and being in disbelief. After a hard pregnancy, I went to the doctor to be checked and they told me that you were going to be coming that night! We couldn’t believe it. We went to the hospital and felt scared, jumpy, but mostly overjoyed. I remember how hard it was to get you out of me, and the precious moment when I saw you for the first time and got to kiss your sweet little face. Then they took you and cleaned you up, and brought you back to me after the doctor’s checked you and I over to make sure we were going to be ok. You were so quiet, sweet, and alert. I remember when your eyes looked at me, and taking pictures of you and having the family around just in awe of you.

It’s been one year since that day, and you have changed so much. It goes so rapidly, I feel like I blink and you are a new child, with some new talent or babble to show us that day! When friends and family come to visit, you just light up when people enter the room!

Chloe, your birth and life has completely changed me and your daddy. We are absolutely smitten with you, and our love for you is so deep, it is hard to describe. We will always always love you, and always be there for you, and be proud of you. I pray to God that you will know Him, and have a relationship with Him, and that the Father will protect your little life from harm. I lift you up into His hands right now, my precious, beautiful daughter.

Maddox was born just after Christmas to my good friends Tim & Jen. I had the honor of photographing their maternity portraits and then visiting at the hospital right after the baby was born! What an honor to follow them through this journey with photos.
